Well...
I was very excited to turn on the TV to start watching game one of the NBA finals between LA and Detroit... I had my popcorn and my blanket all curled up on the couch when i heard "here's Dick Van Dyke"!!!!! "WHAT???" I couldn't believe it... There was Mr. Dick Van Dyke singing the national anthem for the game! I was so impressed (he's pretty good!)He was singing with his group (the Vantastix). It was very fun to get to see not only my favourite sport, but also my favourite actor at the same time!
I also thought that it was pretty cool that Dick Van Dyke went to basketball games at the Staples Centre!!! The cameras showed him from time to time watching the game (that's the fun thing about games in LA...you watch the crowd for celebrities just as much as you're watching the game!) !
What a nice surprise to end the weekend... now it's back to studying for exams! :( lol

Wow, now I wish I'd watched, at least the beginning :) My parents are huge NBA fans and always trying to convert me, but if I ever watch Laker games it's just to see which celebs are in the audience :D DVD is a big fan though b/c I have seen him in the audience at other Laker games too, usually at the finals. How cool that he got to sing with his group!
