The actors do a pretty good job of standing still while the closing credits roll. I don't think I could stand still for that long.

Yes, the cast members do that pretty well. John Astin blinks his eyes a few times noticeably. I hope it didn't take too many takes to get that closing right. I especially like the variation on the opening theme w/ the sound effects thrown in.

Pugsley is noticeably wavering during the whole thing.

Actually no one is completely still. They all blink and move slightly at various moments. I don't think it was looped. It doesn't take that much concentration to sit almost motionless for one minute.

That probably varied episode to episode depending on guest cast credits, especially if they had to be indoividual ones, and other extra credits.

It is interesting that it is basically a still life, and was shot on film that they didn't just use a single frame (tape of the era did not yet have that capability)... maybe they just wanted to see if people were paying attention.... that Gomez blinked, Pugsly wavered, etc. ;)
