This was on the last night we were in DC. I roomed w/ my ex best friend & two other girls. She & I took the bed that was by the wall, and the two other girls had the bed in the middle of the room. Their bed was by a wall outlet (I'll get to that in a minute). The group I'd come with (me & 2 other girls) was scheduled to get up at 5 in the morning so we could get on a bus for the airport at 6 in the morning in order to leave at 8:30 to go back home. Soooooo....it was 11 at night and she needed to set her alarm clock for 5am. There was no wall outlet by our bed, so she had this genius idea to run the outlet from her clock over to the wall outlet on the other side. We tried getting it behind the headboard of our roommates' bed, but it wouldn't go all the way behind it..So she told me to stand on one side of the bed and to push it. Uhhhh, Lisa? THE FREAKING BED IS BOLTED DOWN TO THE FLOOR! YOU CAN'T MOVE IT! But she didn't listen...So she made me push on one side of it, then *THUD* the headboard went crashing! It freaked the hell out of me, and she started laughing her ass off really hard...then I realized what'd happened and I started laughing my ass off, too. My other roommates weren't in the room....they heard the crash and came to investigage it. They both went  and started laughing their asses off, too. They left the room and got 5 of their other classmates (all girls) to come in and they all started laughing their asses off, too!
