leave the house? My mom does that and it drives me crazy. I don't think she understands that cell phones were created to talk to people when you are out the house. Anyone knows anyone that also does this?

I never shut mine off. Ever.

I hate cell phones. Everybody walks around talking on their stupid phones. Everywhere. I go to take the SAT and at 8 am kids are walking into school talking on their phones. The second school is out people whip out their phones. While they drive I see people chatting.. the worst is when they text message and drive! I can't wait for it to be illegal to talk without a hands free one when you drive. I've seen people answer them in the movie theater! It's pretty ridiculous. :cuss:

My whole family has cell phones. I try to keep mine on all day, except when I go to bed. My dad keeps his on all the time For the longest time. my mom would keep hers off, and it pissed my whole family off, but she's getting better at turning it on.

I leave mine on all the time. I think it is stupid to have a cell phone and not have it on.

Yes, my grandma. She's had a cell phone for a long time now. Since 1998 and she never has it turned out when she leaves home. She says she got it only for emergencies, like if my grandpa needs something, but if he has an emergency, and she doesn't have it turned on how can he call her?! Plus, she doesn't even have voicemail on it. I guess when she meant "emergencies" she mean if SHE got into one and could call someone.

They need to pass the law that bans taking on a ceel while driving ALL over the country. My sis-in-law almost ran over me and my oldest boy because she was yapping away and never stopped for the stop sign.

My mom leaves hers in the house all the time. She doesn't even take it with her when she goes out.

I carry it with me everywhere but I hardly have it on. It's only for emerganices. It does drive my friends nuts.

I just got my first cell for my graduation. I'm obsessed with it at the moment, so it's always on. :o

Im tired of going out and someone who is paid to take me out is on the phone for long periods!!

I have a tracfone but only use it one day a week when i talk to my cousin. Its charged only for the call and then don't use til the next week. Being an oldster really can't get used a cell phones. Also not carrying a purse where would i put it. I try to go light as I can.
