Anyone going to any concerts this summer? And does anyone know where I can go to find out what bands are coming to town and stuff? And does anyone know if the Taking Back Sunday, The Used, and Blink182 tour is still going on?

There is a Jamaica Fest coming to San Antonio soon. I wanna go but it's gonna be so hot. :crazy:

I'm going to Tim McGraw in July, but besides that, there's really no good concerts coming here.

The only concert I'm seeing this summer is Shania Twain. I'll see more most likely in the fall.

My brother and I are taking my Dad to see Simon and Garfunkel for Father's Day. I was planning to go to the American Idols concert until I found out that Matt Rogers:eyes: wasn't going to perform:angryfire so I'm not going to waste my money.

I'll be seeing the number one concert tour of the summer - Prince's Musicology - in little over a month from now.

well, not that any of ya'll would be interested in going to a bluegrass concert, but DL&Q are coming near me July 10th (looks at signature) and July 24th (my birthday present YAY!!!!)

You won't be disappointed, Vashti. I saw him last month. All these years, he always seemed to me to be very mysterious, but at the show, he showed a side that I've never seen. He certainly interacts with the audience very well.

I was supposed to see Fuel with my friend Steven, like, beginning of May.. but we couldn't go after all because the day before the goddamn concert they change it to 21+ because they are distributing alcohol. STUPID PEOPLE. You don't need beer there. ohno: ohno:

lol...this doesn't have much to do w/ the thread but breaking benjamin is from my hometown...as for me, no good concerts this year

I'm seeing Sara Evans tomorrow and today I bought tickets to see Martina McBride & Alan Jackson.

I saw Van Halen last week. Great show! It is hard to believe that these four guys haven't played together in almost a decade. They just picked up where they left off. Sammy still sounds great, though he has some difficulty reaching some of the higher notes on songs like "Dreams". Eddie is still Eddie. However, I think that it was Alex Van Halen that stole the show. He is one of the few drummers who has actually gotten better over the years. He's still the best rock drummer out there.

I'm not much of an Alan fan, but I'll stay for about half the time he's on stage. I'm going for Martina. This will be my 4th time seeing her. Were tickets outrageously priced when you saw him? Tickets were $78 pavilion and $38 lawn! I was expecting more like $60 for the most expensive.

I can't remember how much they were but our seats were way in the back. I didn't find out until late that they were gonna be there so all the good seats were taken.
