To anyone who does not know - an internet troll is someone who posts on public message boards with the intent to cause trouble. They typically get banned and then create new screen names. The person who continually posts about eye color is a troll. I've reported them to the moderator and asked them to ban the IP, but the moderator responded that other legit people on this message board are on the same IP, so he can't do that.
I've learned from experience that the best thing to do with internet trolls is to ignore them. I know it's tempting as fans of the Division and the individual actors to respond to the sometimes rude and obsessive comments this person makes. This is what they want. I've been guilty of it as well. Can we all try to return this board to a place to honestly discuss the show? Try to ignore the posts - don't respond. If there is something really rude, such as the post regarding nude scenes on DVDs (whatever), report them to the moderator. If you look at the bottom of each post, there is a link to report the post. Then the moderator can ban that screen name and maybe after a while he'll get sick of creating new screen names and not getting responses and he'll go away.
Thanks for considering.
