I know the show had a happy ending with Felix remarrying Gloria, but doesn anyone think Felix and Miriam should have ended up together? I liked Miriam, but Felix seemed to like her more as a friend.

I would have to say Felix and Miriam. Felix seemed more relaxed (if that was possible) around Miriam, and Miriam seemed to have more of a sense of humor about Felix's little quirks.

I agree .Felix and Gloria seemed like an odd couple all on their own.Gloria sort of got on my nerves.Felix and Miriam seemed like a real couple.

Miriam was very nice and pleasant, but that was it. And that was pretty much how Felix's relationship with her was. She was attractive and supportive, but there didn't seem to be any passion or great romantic chemistry between them.

Yes, Gloria was more uptight, but clearly Felix wanted her back and always would. I watched the entire series last year (got the DVD set) and I don't remember there being a farewell episode for Miriam -- it just seems like she just faded away -- they stopped having her on the show and she was never referred to again.

I think that says it all, really.

Did they ever mention what Miriam's father did for a living, he wasn't an MD named Marcus by any chance!
