fave song is definately Dare Me. I also love How Long, Happiness, He's So Shy and all the Break Out era hits.

Yes We Can Can, Happiness, He's So Shy, Slowhand, Automatic and Jump are all favorites. I have to think about it a bit before I select one.

it's a shame about June Pointer's crack addiction, she was always my favorite sister. I know Anita and Ruth actually had her removed from the group a few years ago because of her drug problem.

My fave video of theirs is also Dare Me, where they were dressed up as men the first half of the video, only to reveal their "Cyndi Lauper/Madonna" makeovers, lol. I remember seeing that video when I was like 5 or 6 and thinking it was so cool. LOL

The only song from them I have heard is "I'm So Excited" and I hate it with a passion. I had the opportunity to listen to "Neutron Dance" when I visited my sister in Colorado but chose not to.

I am sure you've heard Jump (For My Love), Slowhand and He's So Shy before. Even if you're 18, those 3 songs still get airplay

You may be thinking of Freedom form their 1985 album Contact. Freedom has the lyrics I Just want to love you. That song is decent.

Jump (for my love) is OK, but my favorite is American Music from 1982, a really cool pop single. This was in the era when 3 black women (not girls) could harmonize on a pop record without having to resort to being hard edged r&b, have some rapper pop up midway through the song or coo like sex kittens.

BuffySlayer79 thanks for showing me that picture of June. Now which ones are Anita & Ruth? There are so many entertainers that do drugs. Entertainers act like they don't have a mind of their own to say no when somebody offers them drugs. They should know what drugs do to u.
