JMO. :D I like Hall and Oates version better, I guess because it seems like Daryl Hall is singing from personal experience on it. He redid it in a very languid version on a recent solo album. The new version is amost heartbreaking. Funny that Tavares had a hit with it first then the original version caught on. That is a little unusual. musicradio77 06-03-2004, 08:57 PM I have the song "She's Gone" from the album "The Best of Tavares", I didn't like that version either, I love the Hall & Oates version better. AB 03-12-2007, 03:53 PM I like the Hall & Oates version the best. Ireneparalegal 03-12-2007, 03:58 PM Hall & Oates. However, I do like Tavares' version of More Than A Woman better than the Bee Gees version. catlover79 03-12-2007, 04:03 PM Hall & Oates. When I saw them in concert in 2002, they did an awesome love version. |
