Of the two, who do you think has the better version of "She's Gone"? I think Tavares does. JMO. :D

I like Hall and Oates version better, I guess because it seems like Daryl Hall is singing from personal experience on it. He redid it in a very languid version on a recent solo album. The new version is amost heartbreaking.

Funny that Tavares had a hit with it first then the original version caught on. That is a little unusual.

I have the song "She's Gone" from the album "The Best of Tavares", I didn't like that version either, I love the Hall & Oates version better.

Hall & Oates.

However, I do like Tavares' version of More Than A Woman better than the Bee Gees version.

Hall & Oates. When I saw them in concert in 2002, they did an awesome love version.
