what are some songs that you happen to think that the remix version, or an alternate mix, is actually superior to the standard version?

Some examples for me:
Whitney Houston - It's Not Right But It's Okay. The original song is alright, but the club mix of the song is what really pushed the song over the top IMO.

Yoko Ono - Walking On Thin Ice. The original is good, but the Razormaid remix utilizes the song to the maximum (uses the same version was the original), makes it a little dancier, as well as focuses a little more on John's (final) performance on the song, and it cuts down on the screaming in the middle of the song.

Fleetwood Mac - Rhiannon. The live versions of this song puts the original to shame. I remember being ticked the first time I heard the "Fleetwood Mac" album, expecting Rhiannon to start rocking out, and then it fades out. The live version of the song really starts to rock and Stevie gets possessed in the song. To me, the song is incomplete without the ending.

The Beatles's version of "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" from Anthology 3 is better than the one from the White Album. It's livelier. :)

Anoither superior alternate version is the recently released live version of Family's "The Weaver's Answer." A song about aging and death that was performed politely on Family's second album, the group always performed it in concert as the violent rocker it was meant to be.
