Synopsis
Living's rarely easy in the Chicago housing projects, but the Evans family never gives up trying
to make the best of things. Parents Florida and James struggle to provide for the family while
their sons J.J., an aspiring painter, and Michael, the undying political crusader, cause trouble
while their sister stands between them as the voice of reason. They may struggle to survive, but
life is never boring. The popular third season tackled topical themes from venereal disease to the
U.S. Bicentennial and plot points like J.J.'s surprising engagement, Thelma's man troubles,
Michael's problems in school, and James buying a gun to protect his family from local crime.

I'm glad John Amos is on the spine of the 3rd season release. He clearly deserves the recognition. As much as I wouldn't mind his inclusion on further releases, it wouldn't be appropriate since his character is deceased as of Season 4, episode 1. So, it was either now or never.

Who do you think will grace Season 4 if it's released? Season 5? Season 6?

I think Thelma, Michael, and then Willona (not necessarily in that order) will be the future spines if they get that far...
