And the "Good Times" visuals are cheap looking, imo. barwars 06-02-2004, 06:01 PM Ive never heard of anyone not liking the Three's Company theme.... but to each his own. Id have to say 7th Heaven.... it's not a sitcom, but the song still irritates me. Not to mention that the cast changes every other episode. TV Observer 101 06-02-2004, 09:49 PM .... and Family Ties. Mr. Television 06-02-2004, 11:55 PM Just about any sitcom from the 90's. James 06-03-2004, 12:08 AM Two more: Grace Under Fire (that didn't do the Beatles justice in that oh-so-nineties version of "Lady Madonna") Growing Pains (after they got rid of B. Brian Damage 06-03-2004, 10:59 AM The Brady Bunch...it was like chewing tin foil or fingers scratching a blackboard. TJL 06-03-2004, 11:11 AM Dharma And Greg. I hated the theme song almost as much as i hated that show. ;) hawaii five-o 06-03-2004, 09:42 PM Gimme a Break's theme during the first two seasons was horrible. The second theme was way better. vze3t9q9 06-04-2004, 02:32 PM I'm with you Mr Roper. None of the 90's shows themes were much. I tape many theme songs from the past decades. I don't have any from the 90's. Stagecoach West a show from the early 60's had a interesting opening and closing theme. This show starred a young Wayne Rogers. Many Warner Brothers shows from the late 50's to 60's had good opening themes. Maverick, Bronco, and Cheyenne to name a few. J. Thomas' version) [/B] I did not like the Growing Pains theme song after the first season. If you recall the first season the show theme was sung by B.J. Thomas alone and he wailed on that song. His duet with Dusty Springfield in the second season bites and then with the Accapella choir was horrible. The other themes I did not like: Family Ties The syndicated version of theme of Cheers - Where Everybody Knows Your Name. I love the entire version Friends Eight Is Enough - When Grant Goodeve began singing the theme. The first and second season theme was great. Three's Company 7th Heaven Green Acres Petticoat Junction The Jeffersons The Love Boat The Golden Girls - they should had got Andrew Gold to sing Thank You for Being A Friend. He was the original and did a great job singing that. Empty Nest The first two seasons of Gimme A Break A Different World - Horrible theme song to a horrible show. Amazing it lasted six seasons EmoJoe 06-05-2004, 02:08 PM Originally posted by mstewart Family Ties Friends Three's Company :eek2: Those are great theme songs! mstewart 06-05-2004, 02:08 PM Originally posted by James Growing Pains (after they got rid of B.
