1948 eh? That mean Jerry was 9 when the series began. I would have thought he was younger. I think Beav was supposed to be 6 or 7 in the 1st year. Maybe Jerry was small for a 9-year-old.

TV-Tome says Jerry was "7 when the series began". ....

This site also claims Beav was 7 in 1957. ..........

Kind of interesting re. the age differential. Because it means Jerry was almost 15 when the final ("Scrapbook") episode was filmed; but he was playing 13, and just "graduating" from the 8th grade.

On the flip side: Tony Dow played his actual age throughout the series .... he was 12 when the series began (being born on April 13, 1945); and almost 18 (and appropriately graduating from high school) when the series concluded.

FYI -- Jerry was born in Sioux City, Iowa. Tony was born right in Hollywood.

I went to the box on the left "Smilies" and selected those ones (cake, HELLO, you rock, etc), then I attached the picture by going to the bottom where it says "Attach File" and I uploaded it. Hope this helps:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAV! (From two days ago). Sorry I am late, but I haven't been able to go on the computer. I remembered he was 56, and his name was in the paper. (I cut out the column, LOL.) :birthday: party:
