Most of us agree that Ward has got to be one of the sweetest husband's on TV. He is always helping June in the kitchen and around the house and is a very thoughtful and loving husband. Let's say that Ward and June were a real couple back then. I was told by my grandma and even my mother that a wife back then had a duty to her husband in the bedroom as well as all those other household chores. Do any of you think that Ward would have been like that behind closed doors? He did seem to be an old fashioned guy. I'm not trying to offend anyone, I would just like to know what you were all told because I know we all heard all kinds of myths on the subject.

ah good question! I think Ward might have been like that sometimes... i have heard all the crappy myths and stuff and most of the time i do the complete opposite of what people tell me to do! Ward did appear to be a caveman at times..i feel sorry for June if she was dumb enough to take in all the "wife" stuff.

Something tells me that June would have liked fulfilling her "wifely" duties.
