Previously on Full House
Stephanie is trying to tutor Michelle in spellling. DJ tells Steve he has a question to ask here. Steve gets down on one knee and proposes to her.

DJ: Yes, yes, I will!
(DJ and Steve hug each other, with tears of joy in their eyes)
DJ: Just one problem, my dad wont be too thrilled about this idea, being im only 18. He was planning on me to marry at like 55.
(Stephanie and Michelle walk into the living room)
Stephanie: Um, excuse me, but, could you guys leave? Im trying to give Michelle a spelling lesson.
Michelle (in a dramatic voice): Yes, I must work in peace
(Stephanie rolls her eyes)
DJ: I have to tell you guys something. DJ and Steve, we're, well, Steve, how should we put this?
Steve: Well, um- you see
(DJ and Steve keep on studdering, leaving confused looks on Stephanie and Michelle's faces.)
Michelle: Get on with it!
DJ: Steve and I, well, we're engaged to be married!
(Stephanie and Michelle's faces drop open)
Stephanie: What...did you say?
DJ: Steve and I are getting married! Arent you happy?
Michelle: Yes! Were thrilled!
(Michelle and Stephanie jump in joy)
DJ: Hold on, theres more! You cant tell dad, I dont want him to know yet.
Stephanie: Why?
DJ: Because, I dont think he'll like the idea. I mean, come on, you know dad!
Michelle: Yeah, I guess.
DJ: You guys have to promise! Both of you are kind of blabbermouths, no offense.
Stephanie: None taken!
Michelle: We'll pinky swear!
DJ: Okay! Ill leave now
(The three girls pinky swear, and DJ and Steve leave the room)
Stephanie: Ok, Michelle, how do you spell, wedding?
Michelle: W-e-d-i-n-g
Stephanie: Close, theres two D's. Try again.
Michelle: W-e-d-d-i-n-g
Stephanie: Good!
Michelle: When I think of DJ and Steve getting married, I've got the power to spell!
Stephanie: Ok, when you spell, think of DJ and Steve getting...
(Danny walks in at that excact minute)
Stephanie: (whispering) Dont mention anything about the you-know-what!
Michelle: You got it, dude!
Stephanie: You havent said that in ages!
Michelle: I know, I wanted to say it again
Danny: Girls, what are you whispering about?
Stephanie: Uh, nothing, dad
Danny: Well, that means its something that you dont want me to know!
Stephanie: You think we're lying? How rude!
Danny: You havent said that in a long time, Steph!
Stephanie: Well, I just needed to get it out of my system
Danny: Okay, now what were you whispering about?
Michelle: DJ and and Steve are getting...
Stephanie: Ice cream! From the freezer!
Danny: Okay, now I know youre hiding something from me
Michelle: DJ and Steve are...
(Kimmy walks in)
Kimmy: Hey Mr. T! Wheres DJ?
Danny: In the kitchen with Steve. And dont call me Mr. T! Now, Michelle, what was that
Michelle: DJ and Steve are getting married!
Danny: WHAT?!
Becky and Jesse: WHAT?
Joey: WHAT?!
Kimmy: WHAT?!
(DJ and Steve walk in, and everybody is them)
DJ: Oh no. They found out
(Commercial Break)

(Stephanie and Danny point at Michelle)
Michelle: Sorry, DJ, I couldnt hold it in anymore!
DJ: You little nerdbomber!
Stephanie: Why is everyone saying old catchfrases today?
Danny: WHY? WHY? Cant you at least wait until your 55?
DJ (To Steve): Told ya
Joey: Now, wait a minute, Danny, you married Pam right after high school.
Danny: Well, yeah, but, its not the same!
Becky: Why not? Its the exact same thing
Jesse: Your families felt the same way why you and Pam got off to be married.
Danny: I guess you guys are right. DJ, Ill allow you to marry Steve
DJ: (laughing) Thanks, dad!
(DJ and Steve kiss, while the studio audience claps, and the rest of the Tanners go "oooh!"

This was great; Danny's nervousnes was wonderful, and the joke about the cachphrases was really on target. Sounds like FH all right. Only thing I might have added was a comment about Danny being nervous b/c he said marrying that young was the worst mistake her ever made in the ep. where Jesse & Becky almost elope. However, at least you had him nervous & in character, and he may feel that the loss of Pam has amde D.J. more mature than her 18 years, so I guess it really might not have come up.

Also, wouldn't Danny have been married fairly young, as when the show starts he is barely 30?
