I've been thinking about this a lot. I actualy think that very soon there will be a TV on DVD store. About as big as a video store. THINK ABOUT IT. There are all these shows already out on Season 1 BOX SETS. After that, if the shows that are already out in seasons have to complete their sets, the aisles will get crowded and crowded. There won't be room for these DVDs and I am guessing they WONT be sold in stores anymore.


I am just guessing that maybe in a year or 2, once more shows are released in seasons (And current ones continue to release the later seasons of their shows on DVD), then there will possibly be talk of a TV ON DVD store (((Kinda like a BLOCKBUSTER))) LOL!

Sounds like something that could happen in the future. enough TV on DVDs will have to be released to pull this off which means it will be a few years or maybe less, because TV on DVDs are gaining popularity.

Seriously, it's something that's more possible than probable, but for dvd buyers, I think tv-on-dvd is the strength of dvds' future. Soon there won't be many older movies to release on dvd because alot of stuff is out already or on the way. As far as tv shows go, there are tons and tons of stuff that hasn't been released yet, so it should only get more popular over time. It would be nice to see stores specializing in tv-dvds only, but just like you don't see many bookstores or cd stores specializing in one specific genre (I know there are some but not many), I don't think we'll see that for dvds for a while either.

I dont think we'll ever see one.
Soon all shopping (besides clothes and foods) will be done online.

That is what I was thinking. The internet sites (like amazon.com) will take over in the future. Stores will only carry the latest and most popular releases and you will have to go online to get past season releases or more obscure shows.
