Which pair of characters had the best fights and why?

Definitely Carla and Cliff

Carla and Diane.

And you all thought I'd say Lilith and Frasier.

hands down carla and diane.

I gave myself some time to think about it and have to agree with Carla and Diane. Classic scenes:
* "I guess it won't kill me to say thank you" [she pretends to die]
* pushing Diane into Sam's office where there's a vicious dog
* all of Carla's screams and puking noises
* Carla rediscovering faith in God after Diane says she's going to leave Cheers
*Diane: Suffice it to say he insists on making mountains out of molehills
Carla: He wants you to wear a padded bra?

I liked Lilith and Frasier better, but Carla and Cliff and Carla and Diane had the most frequent and high intensity fights. Basically Carla and whoever... had the best fights.

Carla and Cliff..they were just halarious.

In my most biased opinion, I say that Sam and Diane have the best fights, because after most of their brawls, there is a moment of passion!!! http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys_1/malelovies.gif

Carla and Diane. Classic catfights between those two especially in Episode #8, Truce or Consequences. When Diane found out that Carla lied about the father of her child it was on especially when Diane went there and made a comment about Carla's hair. I love the statement that Carla made, "You are tired of wearing your teeth."

Diane: You mean to say you've actually conceived something besides a child?

I'd also vote for Carla and Diane.

Didn't they actually have a fight in the pool room where Diane grabbed Carla's hair? Can't remember, but I think they did... My favorite dialogue was in the episode where the guy who claimed to be a PI said that he thought Carla was beautiful and Diane replied "Well, they're trained to lie."
