A Wings prequel fan fic would be cool! There are a lot of possible stories to work on. If only I could write fan fictions. Two things are stopping me. One is that I could barely remember how the story went. I watched the show too long ago and I wasn't even a teenager then. Second, is that I am not confident enough that my stories will turn out well.

I know there aren't many of us here, so I don't know if it would work, but we should all write a group fanfic!
I've been hanging out at a "Gilmore Girls" message board, and the people at the messageboard do what they call "roleplaying", and it's really like a fanfic that everyone attributes to. someone starts it off with a couple of sentences, and then the next person builds on that, etc etc...

We should do a Wings one. that would be fun. Who's interested? :D

That's a great idea! I used to participate in those "games" in the other community board that i go to. We call it make your own adventure, but we don't have a specific show or story as a guide. So we most of the time end up with some confusing silly story. :lol:

Count me in! I just hope we could pull it off! At any case, I bet we'll have a great time whatever the outcome would be. :)

that's fine with me! i haven't really decided who i want to play. i'm thinking of Helen's sister Casey. based on last night's episode Helen said that she's an idiot. i figured it's easier to play stupid. :lol: i'm the kind of person who could make a mistake and say "Hi! RGay" to a gay person named RJ. hahaha!

If there's only 3 of us doing this, we don't have to each be a particular character. Like, one of us can start off being Helen, for example, and then the next person can build off of that with whatever character, and then the next person, even if they were Helen before, can write something for a different character, if they want...

Or, we can each be assigned a character... but it looks like there are only 3 of us, so we'd be like, 2 or 3 characters each. hehe.

yeah wingshock! I was thinking the same thing that you should join us, since you write fanfic! I like your Wings fanfic. I read it a while back.

and makulit- hmm... I don't really have any more great ideas!!! hehe.

But yeah, we should get started! How do we do this now? because we kinda have to know what season we'd be writing for, because different stuff is going on in different seasons. I'd vote for season 2 or 3...
I don't know if i want to do a prequel, but that might be fun too...

i would really like for that to happen sideshow kristen! i only have 3 vague memories of wings before i started to watch the show again last week. one is antonio in a long sleeve polo with a pen with blue ink bleeding in his pocket! :lol: from what episode was that anyhow?

i just finished reading wingshock's fanfiction entitled Love Is A Four Letter Word and it's amazing!!! if i didn't know better, i would say it was written by a former wing's writer! really! it has a great story line and the way wingshock wrote it. she made the characters come alive! at least in my mind! hopefully, we'd see more of your work wingshock! that is if you could still find time writing your own fan fiction and joining is with our "interactive" fan fiction. :) also, did you just make up the phil stephan character or was he in one of the episodes? again, i'm amazed!

season 2 sounds good to me. how about you guys? also, is there a website where i could read a wing's script? it would be a great help to learn how the character's talk.

I am so glad you enjoyed it. Of course now when I read it I think of some things that could have been better. I haven't written anymore because honestly? Good story lines rarely pop into my head.

The character Phil Stephan is taken from the ep entitled, "The Taming of the Shrew" (another one of my faves)... where Helen & Joe recount what Phil did to her at the dance, and how Joe always was the guy she runs to with her problems. I always cry when I watch that scene, it is so touching.

alright, let's get this fic started! So, who's participating? Definately me, makulit, Kristen, and Snoopy (lol I keep forgetting you changed your screenname. I think I'll call you "Snoopy" here forever. lol.)
and maybe alybabe, and Wingshock?
Is that right?

We shoud figure out how many of us are definately doing this so we can know how many characters each of us will be playing...
here's a list of characters:
Joe
Brian
Helen
Casey
Fay
Antonio
Roy
Lowell
(am I forgetting anyone)
and then while we're in the process of writing, if someone sees the need for one of the other characters like Budd, the guy in the air traffic control tower, Roy's mother, etc; whoever brings that character into the story can just write for that character for as long as you need them to be in the story.
And oh, I just realized, if we do season 2, there will be no Antonio or Casey! We can do season 3 so that Antonio will be around... and then if we want Casey to be in the story, we can write her in as visiting the island for a few days, or something like that.
Or we can just do season 6... because then Kristen(Snoopy) can do her Antonio/Casey storyline. hehe.

What do you guys think?

Who's definately participating, who wants what character (Kristen, you called dibs on Helen, right? ...i didn't go back to read and find out, but if I remember correctly, that was you.), and what season of the show do you guys want to write this fanfic from?

As for characters, I call dibs on Brian!!!!!!!!!! hehe I want at least one of my characters to be Brian... and maybe my second character to be Fay. that would be fun. But first we need to see how many of us there will definately be, and then we can see if we'd need us each to be assigned more than one character. I definately want Brian, though. :p

Yeah, I wanna be Helen, if that's OK. I don't care what season we do, as long as Joe and Helen are together in some fashion ;) I'll wait and let other people pick their characters before I call a second character. I might want a real challenge, though, and go for Roy hehe.

I think I could do just about anybody... I don't really have a preference. Let me know who has their heart set on whom, and I'll take the others.

so we still need Joe, Lowell, Roy, and Casey and Antonio, depending on what season we're doing.

hahaha!! With me, I've never really had the problem of anyone having my name. I like that... but there are so many names similar, that everyone who meets me at first wants to call me one of those other names like Kristen, Kris, Christina, Crystal... rrraarrrr. So then it still gets confusing if there are other Kris-names around! hehe

I started the fanfic in a new thread. We still need a Casey, an Antonio, a Joe, and a Roy!! Speak up, guys!!

may i suggest that we turn this thread to a fanfic melting pot since we'll be making a new thread for the group fanfics anyway and i don't want to put this thread to waste. hihi!

here, anyone (even those who don't want to join the group fanfiction, although i hope they would :) )can post their crazy or not so crazy ideas for the fanfics like this one...

1) what if the Fab 5 from the show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy goes to nantucket and does a make-over on (your pick) Joe, Antonio, Brian, Roy or Lowell.

2) how about a fanfic where a dashing young bachelor politician visits nantucket and goes gaga over helen, which in turn makes Joe crazy jealous

regarding the other characters not being called for. maybe some of us can sub for those characters when the need arises. we don't have to play that role permanently.

Looks like our fanfic tanked......... :(
