"britney spears live in las vegas" is airing on hbo at 8....and u no thats gonna have hot raitings...its bein hyped up and advertised so much too...i hope the movie still has good reviews...now i dont no which one to watch since britney is hot, but fol is a classic...screw it i have to take my cousins to that concert ill watch the movie

I dont have HBO so that was an easy decision. And an HBO show doesn't count for things like Neilson Ratings does it? Because thats a cable channell. I thought Neilson Ratings were just for shows on stations like ABC, NBC, and CBS?

There are ALOT of people who grew up in the 80's who will see that FOL is coming on and will watch it just to strike up memories. I think ABC will be pleased with the viewers that the FOL reunion movie draws in. Also, I think TV Land will also be delightfully surprised at all those who tune in for the fandemonium-all 48hours of it! It's an amazing FOL weekend!

I don't think you'll have too much of a problem with the "original" fans - however, if it was someone from the '80s we might think twice.LOL

Well, not too many people on here "know" me. I'm almost 26, a guy, and have two guy roommates. We're all (plus one roomies fiancee) going to watch the reunion movie tomorrow night--- with SURROUND SOUND!!!

I am pumped about this weekend.

ABC is more popular than HBO Britney can take a flying leap!

I have to agree with the majority here. First, Britney is on HBO. Not everyone gets HBO, it's $12 more a month, I don't think any channel is worth that much. Also, they will surely show her concert again and again, plus there will probably be a DVD of it. It's not that much competition really. Also, Britney has been getting alot of hype about it but it's just her usual prancing around almost naked on a stage doing dance moves that she didn't even come up with, lip-syncing her way through her crappy songs. Even she will be embarassed about what she's done in ten years.
Plus, I just got my saturday local paper, and FOL is on the front page corner! Plus they are on the cover of the newspaper TV guide! People who read their local papers to find out what's on TV will know about it. 80's TV nostalgia for a couple hours, it's cool. People will watch. Even people who didn't/don't like the show. I predict at least 12 million viewers, probably more, maybe 15 million? Hard to say, since it's a little different for stuff that starts at 7 PM.

well we will just have to wait and see........

I think that any loyal fan of FOL, like me, would rather see the girls back together than watch some teen idol strip on live tv, like she did at the MTV video music awards last year. Plus i don't get HBO.
