What do you guys think of this Richard Pryer dark comedy about a family that moves from New Jersey to Idaho?
I saw this movie this morning on HBO Comedy, and I always liked this movie. It was so funny. Pryer was past his prime, but he was still very funny.
I liked the part when the reporter asked Pryer a question and he said "I just sharpened my pencil." And when Pryer and his family has they are leaving their home, they give Randy Quaid the finger.
I also liked the antics of Pryer's twin sons, that pretended to be one person in their school, and cheat to win a race.
ps: please ignore the "Movin" (1988) thread. They won't let me edit the title, so I started a new thread.

There's a 60 minute limit on editing thread titles, which is something that I do like. I closed your other thread. If you'd like, you can contact TJ, administrator of the boards and site, and let him know that you couldn't edit the thread title.

I saw Moving & i liked it a lot. It was very funny. Remember WWF wrestler King Kong Bundy was in it? Morris Day of 80's r&b group The Time also had a small part in it. He was trying to marry Stacey Dash so she didn't have to move to Idaho. Richard & his wife Beverly Todd had her tied up in the basement when they were trying to sell their house & the people they showed the basement to screamed when they saw Stacey tied up LOL.

U spelled Pryor wrong. It's with a o, not a e. TVJE have u seen his Critical Condition movie? That is the worst Richard Pryor movie i've ever seen LOL. He was pretending to be a doctor at a hospital. I also like his movies Jo Jo Dancer & See No Evil Hear No Evil. Him & Gene Wilder play good together.
That movie was a classic. It is was so twisted. While not as good as earlier Pryor movies such as "Blazing Saddles" or "Stir Crazy", and of course Pryor's stand up movies such as "Richard Pryor: Live in Concert" and "Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip", this movie was great.
Morris Day and King Kong Bundy were great in the movie. Also in the movie, the guy who bought Richard Pryor's house is the guy who played Paul on "Cheers." Gordan Jump and Dana Carvey were also in the movie. And I thought Stacy Dash was cute.
"Johnson Family Vacation" wishes it was as funny as "Moving." And speaking of Cedric the Entertainer who was in "Original Kings of Comedy", Richard Pryor is the king of comedy in my opinion.
