I just bought the Jeffersons season 2 DVD and I can't believe I never gave this show a chance when it was on N@N. The only character I don't really care for is Lionel(Damon Evans).

Damon Evans sucked; compared to the original Lionel Jefferson (Mike Evans)..Damon was a major let down..Mike Evans was a great actor and was by far the BEST Lionel because his comic timing was great, his interaction with his father was hilarious; he treated George the same way he treated Archie Bunker, like he was a
Few Fries Away From A Happy Meal.. ..Also Mike Evans was handsome, and he and Belinda Tolbert (Jenny) made a cute couple...

He doesn't seem to take up too much screen time, at least in the second season.

Season 2 had it's funny moments. I wasn't too crazy about the episode when Lou Gosset Jr. played George best friend and was coming on to Louise.

Was Lou Gosset, Jr. in every African-American based sitcom from the 1970's; he played Thelma's older boyfriend on Good Times...

I think because Louise was seen too much and George was not seen enough. Lou Gosset never guest starred on Sanford and Son

Or he could have played one of Lamont's poker pals. I also didn't like the episode when Florence was thinking about suicide. On the Flip side, i liked the ep when that woman said she was Louise's daughter. Plus Part one and Two of the Breakup was good

The scene that stands out in part one was when Tm said to Helen and Louise, "no need to fight over Crazy George" and then George comes out of no where and says

"Who you calling crazy Honkey"-LOL
