what the heck? they go from an average of 3-4 months between seasons 3 (which came out 4/1/03) to 7 (4/6/04) to 7 between seasons 7 and 8? Even tho I do think I have all the Friends I want on DVD (in many ways, season 7 was the jump the shark season, and I never really felt 8-10 regained), seven months is way too long a wait considering the rate they were being cranked out

I Know!!! What is their problem? Maybe they think that if people are busy watching the Friends DVDs then they will not watch aby of the new shows on NBC, like the Joey show? They are giving us a few months to get into the new shows. Just a thought.

true, but you'd figure they'd put season 8 around July or August, and then wait until November for season 9.

I guess they know season 8 is one of the best loved seasons (even tho I don't agree with it, just because ratings improved after 9-11 doesn't mean the show got better), but no reason to wait 7 months for it, when it was only taking about 2-3 months apart for the best era of the series IMO (seasons 4-6)
