I am so tired of CD/Nate fanfics!!!!!!!! I mean when people write stories with CD, Nate and other people that is fine. When fanfics are only about CD/Nate sometimes they get boring. If maybe these fanfics were set in times where they were younger they might be better. No disrespect to their big, big fans but I am so tired of it.

I'm very sorry if you are tired of CD/Nate fics, because you are missing some of the best fics. Nate and CD are my favorite characters, and I enjoy very much the fan fics about them. But there are many other fan fics on this board were the whole focus isn't Nate and CD. My advice to you is to read those fan fics.

I know what you mean. Every time someone posts a new fic I get all pumped up to read it and it ends up being a CD/Nate fic. So I just dont read em...

So don't read them! There are some of us who do care about CD/Nate fics, and if other people don't like them, that's fine, just don't read it. But don't complain when we write them. If I'm not crazy about a fic, I just don't read it. I don't go complaining about it, because this board is open to everyone's enjoyment. And if you are tired of CD/Nate fics, then what's stopping you from writing a fic yourself?

I understand what you mean, that's why I try to write unusal couple stories to give people a break from the norm. If it bother you as much as you say it does don't read them. Try reading a different fadom(sp) for awhile then come back to TD (That's what i did with ER i was sick of abby/carter fics)

Like maria1986 said, No one is forcing you to read the fics. I personally love CD/Nate fics. And I enjoy writing about them, so you are going to have to deal with my stories b/c I am going to continue to write. And CD/Nate are my favorite characters. And know CD is not on the show, but that doesn't mean that I or anyone else who writes about them should stop writing about them just because a certain amount of you hate them.:mad: :angryfire

I personally am not a fan of the CD/Nate fics but I don't see them as a big deal when different people are writing them since i don't read them . No one is forcing you to read them.

I agree. Everytime a new one is started, I get excited only to find out it is only about Nate/CD. There are only a few fan fics that I actually read these days.

I cannot BELIEVE how ridiculous this whole thread is! Geez, those of you who don't write fics but dislike reading CD/Nate fics so much, then WRITE YOUR OWN!!! We CD/Nate writers aren't going to stop writing our fics the way we do, just because you guys are tired of them! Sheesh!

Well, here are my two cents. If you'll notice, there wasn't as many fan-fics written about CD and Nate until CD was written out of the show. It's called missing someone, and the CD/Nate fans that write CD/Nate fics most likly are Jinny/Teddy fans too, and have written Jinny/Teddy fan-fics before, it's just that Jinny is still in the show...and CD is not. That is probably why so many fics are written about her. Everyone who writes them miss her character alot. I'm sure Tracey misses her character as well. I think for all us CD fans, absence makes the heart grow fonder. But if out of sight out of mind is the saying that describes you best, then be my guest believe that whole heartedly. But remember like others have said, you don't HAVE to read the CD/Nate fics, and no one is forcing you. Go to the top of the page and search Jinny/Teddy fics or something like that. I'm sure you'll find something there. Or you can always write your own, like someone said. I'll gladly read it, but please don't bash the other fans of the show who like CD/Nate. Thanks......ok that was probably more like FIVE cents. hehe

i read the same 2 over and over again...Imaginations From The Other Side (only the JIn and Teddy parts)..and All or Nothing....

I agree with CD/Nate fans. People who don't like CD/Nate fics canNOT read them. Nobody forces them to read CD/Nate fics. I love CD and Nate and i like reading and writing fics about them. And i think that people that don't like CD/Nate should stop whining and write fics themselves about Jinny/Teddy, Jinny/Jack or whatever pair they want.

Okay I wasn't going to reply, but I changed my mind. I am trying to turn a new leaf on these boards, and stop being as bitchy as I have been lately. When I first came to these boards there were no CD fanfics barly at all. Maybe one at the most. Kate happens to be my fav, but when I came here there happend to be only like three of four fics at the most...and now becides mine there is about the same number, but if, you count all the ones that I start LMAO there are about twenty. What ever shows you like and you have a favorite person, and you want to read about them if, your me, then their is barly ANY fics about them, and A LOT on the other people. So generaly speaking I am in the minority. Does it get annying some times yeah sure it does. But these people work hard on their fics, and they shouldn't be put down by that. You can either respect them or not, but please don't put them down.

I am gonna give an example of some things, and I am gonna be WAY off topic, but please just read... Lets say you are doing your home work, and you think Damn I worked hard on that. There's no way I am gonna get a bad grade on this. You hand in your work and a few days later it comes back with an F or a D. But yet you worked your but off on this, and it's just not right, but it happens.

Another example you have a job, and you come into work every day on time you work your but off again...but the people who you work for don't repest that or what you do. SO then they make your life unbareable. Believe me I know. It makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning and go, but it's something you have to do.


I know a lot of us have said, that as far as fics go you should wright for yourself, and no one else, I believe that, but sometimes It nice getting that reply back. It can make you feel so much better about yourslef, sometimes. And when you do something You like and other people like it, even if, you just have that one person who comes, and says something bad it can destory everything you have worked to to get to that spot. This is somehting fun, and it gets people's minds of their problems. Lets keep it that way.

That was stated really well! The people who write the CD/Nate fan fics and any other fan fics for the matter put in their time and effort because that is what they want to write about and they enjoy writing about it. If you don't like all of the CD/Nate fics then start writing a fic about your favorite character or who ever you want to write about.
