Hey guys!!! Long time no post. I've been too busy reading the Iraqi bloggers. :)

Anyhoo, Felix, I think. He was not only neat, he was just incredibly fussy.

Love,

Wing<><

   You mean you've NEVER heard of The Odd Couple? Felix Unger and Oscar Madison were good friends and roommates, even though their personalities were totally opposite. (Sound familiar? ) Felix was all neat and fussy while Oscar was a laid-back slob. Tony Randall, who passed away a couple of weeks ago, played Felix in the TV version.

oohh!!! hahaha! i didn't remember that that was the character's name on that show! I actually just watched that show for the first time last week. I was at my Grandma's house, and she saw that it was on and was like, "this is a funny show!" so we watched it together. It was really funny. It was the episode where they both have to go to Texas for some reason, but I think it was Felix who was afraid to fly in the plane... and eventualy, they chartered a plane because they missed their original flight, and they ended up in a plane full of skydivers. hahahaha.
It was really funny. I'd totally watch that show again.

In talking about "The Odd Couple", consider this....

If someone were to produce a new version of Neil Simon's orginal "The Odd Couple" play (either a stage or a film version), Tim Daly and Steven Weber would be great in the leads....

..BUT both men are SO talented and versatile that I could see each actor playing EITHER role!

Version 1: Tim plays fussy neatfreak Felix while Steven plays sloppy, laid-back Oscar....OR....

Version 2: I could ALSO see Tim playing sloppy Oscar (complete with sweatshirt and baseball cap) while Steven is nervously straightening up the apartment as Felix. (Steven HAS played nervous, prissy characters before).

Think about it....each guy is really capable of playing EITHER role!

And Tony can fill in as an understudy if one of them can't do it!

David Schramm as Speed, a poker pal

Great casting Adam, Felix wins the neatness contest aprons down. Don't recall Joe ever wearing and apron but am sure Felix has worn them in plenty of episodes
