How is it that the Huxtables know all these stars and yet they invite them to their house? It just seems odd to me-- and I know its just a tv show but does that seem alittle odd to anyone else?

What stars came to the huxtable house?

There were a lot of people. That jazz singer guy, that african poet or songwriter or whoever she was, and I KNOW that there were others, I just can't think of them right now. Yeah, it does seem odd, doesn't it? Also, how many people do you know invite their old college professors over for dinner???

The stars that visited the Huxtable family were to represent the kids friends from school and college and Clair and Cliff's friends from College and just old friends that they knew.

There was also on an earlier episode when those dancers came when Denise was having a party. Like that would ever happen.
