how about ABC needs better SHOWS period. CSI is the main reason CBS is #1, as is Raymond. Survivor is the only marquee reality show they have. ABC's had hits with The Bachelor, they don't have hits with other genres tho, and that's the main problem

so are most reality shows IMO, doesn't stop people from watching them though. Bachelor/ette gets ABC ratings, which is about the only hit they have

the only reality show I actually like is Superstar USA, because that is a complete mockery of everything American Idol stands for. Instead of rewarding the best singer, it rewards the worst. Rosa's rendition of Madonna's "Borderline" was 10 times more cringeworthy and laughable than William Hung's singing.

I only like it because it's 100% entertainment, whereas a lot of fans of American Idol get so into the show, basically having a heart attack when their favorite contestant gets voted off.

I think Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is doing fairly well. But most of their scripted stuff is crap.

CBS is the most balanced network between Sitcoms, Dramas and reality. ABC is in bad shape. I never thought I'd see one of the big 3 ever fall to 4th place.

You're right! Great dramas, good comedies, and a little reality (for those who do not loathe it like I do), but not too much to annoy anybody.

I was surprised to see Fox beat ABC. What ratings hits do they really have?

American Idol is the only difference for FOX being third. FOX has a 6.0/10 rating for the season. ABC is close behind with a 5.9/10. ABC's upcoming fall line-up looks good. Established shows anchoring top of the hours (My Wife & Kids, 8 Simple Rules, Hope & Faith, Bachelor, According to Jim -- with veterans Less Than Perfect and George Lopez also in the schedule) and some really good new dramas coming up. Be on the look out for Desperate Housewives and J.J. Abrams's Lost. Those two are predicted to be hits.

I watched absoutely nothing on CBS...

The only thing I watched on ABC was Hope & Faith.

FOX had my viewership for The Simpsons. (Also the FOX BOX--home of Kirby, Sonic X, and other great toons)

NBC? Frasier and the occasional Law & Order.

WB? Nothing. (Not counting Kids WB--home of Pokemon)

UPN? The incredible Star Trek: Enterprise.

Less than Perfect is not strong enough to me. Also predictions means nothing, That's My Mama was predicted to be a hit in September of 74 and looked what happened-LOL
