Has anyone seen the VH1 special Babylon: Child Stars? What are your thoughts on this special?

it was okay, but I find it funny how they acted like it was all over for Willie Aames once Eight Is Enough ended, I could've sworn he was on Charles In Charge?

Yes he was, they should have mention "Charles in Charges."

And if they want to talk about tragic deaths of child stars, they should have mentioned Merlin Santana, who played Rudy's boyfriend on the Cosby show, and later starred on the Steve Harvey show, was shot and killed while sitting in his car in 2002.

I saw and A & E biography narrated by Haley Mills that I thought was very good. It had a maybe 15 stars from the past. Mostly 50's and 60' and few 70's stars and one woman who was a child actresss in the maybe late 20's early 30's. Tony Dow, Bill Gray,Patty Duke and Mellissa Gilbert to name a few spoke. I liked it for it went back to stars of show older than 30 years.

it a shame that most child stars never beacame famous again after thery shows canceled

like for sample the Brady Bunch kids after the series they try to other acting gigs beacame type cast

here are 5 other childs that are still famous that they were on a huge sitcome

Ron Howard-The Andy Griffith Show, Happy Days
Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen-Full House
Alyssa Milano-Who's the Boss?
Christina Applegate-Married with Children

why did thta special make it out like EVERY child star is going to be washed up?

that's just for starters. They all had success as kids... and still also had success as grown-ups, so why do the specials make it out like all child stars are going to wind up like Dana Plato?

I agree they sould to do how did child stars stay success when they became adults and you forget Kirsten Dunst

well, I don't usually consider him because he was 21 when Family Ties began

I kind of felt sorry for that six year old rapper that they were following around. I think his name was Maxi$. To his dad, he is nothing but a cash cow. And this little kid was singing a song about a shotgun on the dashboard. In a few years, he will be holding up a 7-11.
