Well sometimes it is just impossible to compare the syndicated episodes with the NBC ones.......:crazy:

...Or maybe Iola's mother only let Iola think that she was an invalid when Iola was around her so that she would wait on her hand and foot, but she really could move around on her own. And Iola wasn't around at that time her mother took the garbage out.

That's it. You will find a lot of mistakes if you try to compare those. Like on "War of the Roses" Vint and Naomi talk about their first kiss being at some diner near the interstate at 2 something A.M. Well, we all know that that is not true based on the NBC years episodes.

Iola was just exaggerating.

Her mother got around some: she got carsick on the way to the Boylen's cousin's wedding, Iola took her out to eat at St. Ray's cafeteria, she got lost in "The Big Nap"...she hardly ever got up, but it wasn't that she literally "hasn't got up since", lol.
