My favorite couples to root for are:
Max/99, Get Smart
Dave/Lisa, NewsRadio
Niles/Daphne, Frasier (Like in Get Smart, they were building up to a declaration of love for years resulting in a most satisfying payoff, seeing the geeky boy get his dream girl eventually.)

for me the ultimate couple is Sam and Diane on "Cheers." i mean sure the fought all the time but i still maintain the opinion that they were perfect for each other and should have gotten married in the end.

My fave couples;

Dan and Roseanne(the early years)

Vint and Naomi- Mama's Family(absolutely crazy about each other!)

Stephanie and Michael- Newhart(What a "cute" couple!)

Jesse and Rebecca- Full House( Have Mercy!):lol:

I think Frasier and Lilith were a great couple. Sure, they were a bit stuffy and intellectual, but they had great chemistry.

Joe Hackett and Helen Chappel (Wings)- In the beginning they liked eachother, then they fell in love. Then they broke up, then they got engaged and finally married.

Dave Nelson and Lisa Miller (NewsRadio) - Met in episode 1, had a secret office romance by episode 2. Had an on-off relationship. However, in season five, Lisa married the formerly evil Johnny Johnson.
