The trio is Jack,Janet and Chrissy.Landlord(s) was The Ropers.Would it have made it through 8 sesons?More?Less?

I think that it would have lasted maybe 6 years but not 8 b/c it was funny at first then towards the 3 season or somewhere around there (no offence) but Chrissy started to get annoying b/c she was acting a little too domb. At first it was funny then it just got annoying. (no offence to suzanne fans or anything) I am kinda glad that they did get rid of her. I think the show needed a change like that. If she would have stayed the way she was in the first couple seasons then it would have been ok for her to stay. IMO

Well, i think it would have lasted less time....because the Mrs. Roper's jokes about sex started getting old. I think that bringing Mr. Furley in was the right thing to do. Having a new roommate or two also helped. It gave the show a new spark, while Jack and Janet continued thier fun antics. I do think it would have been cool to keep Mr. and Mrs. Roper on the show more with the new group.

I think it could've lasted just as long, if not longer. Seasons 1 - 3 were some of the best years of the show, IMO. The Ropers were great, and Chrissy was still sane during those years.

Other shows have lasted a long time with their original core cast intact. Why wouldn't TC?
