Yes, it seems that Mabel always hold a torch for her ex; he was the father of her children, and he was not bad looking, so I could understand why she still had feelings for him:)

The way those writers and or producers messed up the last season, I don't think they were that intelligent to write her a love interest! Might I mention Little Earl's crush on Dee!!! What the hell was that!!!!

LOL. Why were they on there in the first place? Him and his bumbling father, who can never present his badge the right way. Not only that, he was a rotten coach.:D

Anyway, it seemed they didn't much with Mabel's character. I remember going to night school. And with Rerun as a classmate.

Season 3 was an utter mess.

Season 3 stunk!! I hated the way they seemed to all be intimidated by Big Earl.

The Best episode of season 3 was SHIRLEY'S COOKIES. Anyone like that episode?
