He must've been a wimp, he needed a babysitter. I'm going to let an old man come into my home and tell me who to have over and when. He would've gotten smacked!!!!:p

Because Lamont was a wimp. 32 year old man and let Goofy Grady take control of the house.

Lamont was just lazy. He wanted someone to do all the cooking and cleaning. He was busy just doing his famous "pickups" on the truck. What a job....looking through other peoples garbage.

In all fairness he dropped out of school to help his father run the business. I don't think that gives him much of an option in the job market. It has its upside..
1. Work your own hours.
2. You might find something valuable.
3. No boss to worry about.
4. Meet new people everyday.
5. Easy to conceal unreported income.

That is really funny!! I remember a episode where Fred said the junk business only made $4000 a year. I know it was only the early 70's but but even for that time that seems to be a miniscule amount of money. $4000 for two people to live on. (Plus $3000 Fred got from Social Security.)

Yeah it was odd for a grown man to come home and ask another grown man where is my dinner.

Actually - it was $3k from the business as well - a total of $6k between them. That's when that twit Calvin suggested Lamont go out & get another job.

Lamont should have stayed at that men's store (haberdashery) or with Big Nose Backstrum. Maybe he could have made more money. Even better he could have joined Fred's escort service. "Sexy and Son."

NO ORGEES!!! The funny part was that Lamont corrected him, meaning that they were gonna have one. The part I laugh to this day is when the two ladies said, together, "Goodnight Grady".
