My dad and I have tickets to go see her in July.
I am really excited. Have any of you seen her show?
Are any of you going to see her this summer?
I wonder if she will sing any of her old songs? I hope.

Yes, she will sing old songs as well. It's going to be a greatest hits tour. Here's a recent article about it:
Madonna's show to spark controversy?
There are reports today that Madonna's Re-Invention tour will include the megastar being frazzled in an electric chair and is said to be quite literally her most shocking show yet.
After their MTV snog last year, it seems her Madgesty and pop princess Britney Spears are now trying to outdo each other when it comes concert controversy.
And harking back to that girl-on-girl action, Mrs Ritchie's latest stage extravaganza will also apparently feature simulated lesbian sex when she tangos with a female dancer.
But Bush will come under fire in a big anti-war statement in her performance of 'American Life' - it's claimed the sound of bombs dropping and video footage of war in Iraq will accompany the track.
If the rumours are to be believed fans can expect to see scantily clad pregnant women parading around on stage for 'Papa Don't Preach' and the electrocution scene will come in a blaze of fireworks at the end of the song 'Lament' from the musical 'Evita'.
John Lennon's 'Imagine' will also get the Madonna treatment, with the star breaking down in tears in front of pictures of starving children while she sings the track.
Madonna recently added another date to the UK leg of the tour, with a performance at the Manchester Evening News Arena on 15 August.

Ok, there's no need to comment on her fans. They could just like the music and not what she does in her shows. That was really uncalled for.

I read somewhere that CBS is planning to air a "Re-Invention" special later on.

but heaven forbid if someone said something about your precious little Beatles. Double standard? I think so. Madonna is to her era what The Beatles were to theirs.

While we are on the topic ,
Will Madonna be by herself? Or will somebody be opening for her?

she's just by herself, she didn't have an opening act on the last tour either.
Looks like this tour will be great, she's performing all the oldies she skipped last tour, I saw a 30 second clip of her singing Vogue, and it was like it was the 1990 Blond Ambition tour all over again. That was when Madonna was on top of the world :)

Tragic story my dad and I had tickets to go see Madonna.
We had them for months.I was all psyched up. I kept dreaming
about it for ages. Well we get to the Arena. We get there an hour early. The show was supposed to be at 8:00. It was a hour late. It did not start until 9:00p.m. So we were there 2 hours .
Then this screen came down it showed images of Madonna and
this animal that was representing Satan. Madonna's pre recorded voice was talking about the rapture and when Jesus is coming back. Then the screen folds into 2. So now there is 3 screens.
It shows people burning in Hell. Very strange. Then this huge tower thing pops up. Madonna is on top of it. The music was so so loud. I felt my heart pounding very hard, I had sweat pouring down my body you would have thought I had taken a shower with my clothes on. I told my dad I had to go to the bathroom.
Im the bathroom I thought I was going to cry. My heart was pounding I felt I could not breathe and you could hear that music blaring and I felt I was being shaken. I did not think I could go back in. I was going to ask the usher to go get my dad. I managed to go get him myself. We stayed outside and listened to
her for a few songs, then left. I only saw Madonna live for possibly 5 minutes. Now I wish we stayed. Then on the other hand looking back how scared I was I am glad I did not. Then I still wish I had stayed. You think Madonna will ever go on tour again? Why do you guys think that happened??? I mean I go to indoor/outdoor ampatheatere concerts all the time. I feel so disappointed. Also a little scared. Could I get that panicky at future concerts? Also I did not know if she was put in the electric chair or they showed lesbians. If anyone here went please post details.
