Bewitched movie script


Could it be magic? New details are going around about the long-intended film version of classic TV romantic sitcom Bewitched.

Yahoo! Movies' preview page for the film, set to star Nicole Kidman, has added a report on how Columbia Pictures' late 2004 release may vary from the TV series.

The often well-informed Greg Dean Schmitz's 'reliable source' has done some nosing around, and uncovered plans to include a TV show within the very movie that's being adapted from the TV show. Yes, the current script by Nora Ephron has Samantha as an unearthly witch who once on Earth, lands a job as an actress on a TV sitcom... about a witch!

It's through working on the TV series that Samantha then falls in love with an actor named Darrin, thus shadowing the original series. Such a twist is enough to make your head spin, or at least your nose twitch. That would preferably be in a cute way, and not with the kind of nose Nicole Kidman wore as Virginia Woolf in The Hours, then.


With Nora Ephron writing, this should be good!!

I'm skeptical why wander from the same storyline? I also disagree with casting, Darrin should be played by Jim Carrey who looks like Dick York. We'll have to see.:rolleyes:
