They think it has to do with terrorism because it was the same plane company (united airlines) that carshed into the WTC.

and yes, NMk lived in Forest Hills queens, which is no where near Rockaways....

Actually it was American Airlines flight 587. And it too crashed into the WTC.

The White House has stated that at this time, there is nothing suspicious to lead them to believe that terrorists were involved. It is still a scary and tragic event though. We all need to stay calm about this. Investigators need time to sort out the facts, so lets not jump to conclusions.

I hope nobody from this board was involved. Lets all say a prayer for the victims and their families. Take care all.

First it was an american airlines flight. Forest hills is in central queens and the rockaways is south queens. I live on one of the main roads that goes to the rockaways so you can just imagine the chaos here this morning. They say it that it may have been something wrong with the engine. So for now it was not a terrorist attack.

i think that is sad that there was another air piain crash. my heart goes out to the family of the people that died. and to every one else in new york.
