Hi, can anyone help answer my question?

Someone in The UK "Europe" has agreed to record me something on his Panasonic DVD-30 Player.
Now the question is, will it play on my American Panasonic DVD Player?

Can anyone who has had experience with DVD-R Traders in Europe please help answer this question?

THANKS!!!

It's fine, I have someone who lives in US who records stuff for me to DVD and I live in the UK and it plays fine. My dvd player is region free anyway.

It may not be fine the other way around (UK to US). Homemade dvds are not region-coded so that's not the issue. It's whether or not Jack77's dvd player will play PAL. A lot of European equipment handles both standards, but such is not the case in North America where most devices are strictly NTSC compatible. Two of my three players, including a Panasonic E80, will not play PAL discs.

Your computer should be able to play it regardless though Jack77 and if you want you can even convert it to NTSC and re-burn using TMPGEnc.
