Since I'm in to asking how you found this site, i might as well tell you how I found FOL.
One night last fall, I was watching NAN waiting for the Brady Bunch to come on. It didn't; the IQ episode came on. I was so mad that this was a different show! i SORT of liked it. Then every night I'd watch it. The next thing i remember, it was Edna's Edibles.
I even remember the first time I called it FOL!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/grineyes.gif LOL!

Well when I first found it, I couldn't even talk...because I was about 1 years old, LOL. My aunt is just like me. A Lisa Whelchel Fanatic. (I guess it runs in the family, eh?) Back in the 80's, she taped every episode of FOL, so she has all these tapes and all the episodes are listed in order from 1-209. I started to watch them when she babysat me and ever since then, I have always loved it. When I was 3, I wanted Blair to be my mommy LOL. EVERY single time I went over, she made me watch the tapes because thats what she wanted to watch. Even on Easter while all the adults were eating, I would sit on the floor and watch them. Well I guess it paid off because by 4 I was obsessed. You can imagine how happy I was when it came on N@N! You can also imagine how devestated I was when she moved back to England... WITH the tapes!!

its kinda weird how i found fol...i remember that right before the marathon, N@N was promoting it and my said "oh! i used to love that show!" and i asked my dad what it was and he replied "bad television". since me and my dad have a lot of the same opinons, i doubted id like fol. i didnt even want to watch it. but then one day, my mom was watching it. i went in her room just to ask her a question on my hw or something, and then i started watching it. i kind-of liked it, and decided to give it a chance. well, before long i was watching it every night. soon, i found this board and became overly obsessed. (lol) before i knew it, i was askinf my parents for a VCR just so i could tape fol!

well, i hope thats detailed enough for yah hehe

NAT: That's believable. We got a truck stop, a skitzo pilot, the woman in red. All I need now is for Charro to walk through the front door.

Dancing is not a sport, it's an obsession.

me n' alex are like blair n' jo...we have the fights, the comebacks, everything..all we need now is to look the slightest bit like them..and we're practically there!

i luv FOL--get it? got it? good.

Well, I could kick myself that I didn't start watching FOL during the first marathon, but I didn't. I tuned in to it just to see what it was since N@N was advertising it so much, but it was one of the first season episodes...the Flood one. I didn't enjoy and found it sorta childish, so I didn't watch it anymore during that marathon. THEN I saw a few more and the one where Jo came. I started watching during the second marathon and saw the ones with Jo and fell in love. I immediately began taping them. Now I don't shut up about it.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't start watching it just because of Jo. I loved the chemistry there was with just the four girls, and the bond that slowly formed between Blair and Jo. That made it extremely enjoyable for me!

Sorry for the long post...back to my hole now!

Here is how I became a complete freak about the show. Okay before it started on N@N I saw the commercials and it looked like a really funny show and since I was a big fan of N@N at the time I decided to watch it. One day turned into a week... First I saw the episode "Rough Housing" it was so funny and it had a good moral. Now I tape them whenever it comes on for the fandemonium marathon I'm gonna stay up the whole 48 hours! That's how weird I turned...

Well I saw the last 2 seasons during it's original run and I wasn't nuts about the show then but that's probably because I was only 5 then and I was more into cartoons. But this was before we got cable, last fall I was babysitting my cousins at there house and I turned on the tv and saw the graduation ep then the next day I begged my parents to get cable so I could watch it and then my mom was like in 2 weeks were getting cable and I just screamed because I could watch FOl and then one day I went on my computer and look up Fol and found this site and now this site is on my Favorites list.

Originally, I didn't want to try it when it was going to come on N@N. But my brother said he was going to try it because my mom told him it was about a girls' school. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif So I was forced to watch it with him. I saw the marathon and the first episodes I noticed were first season. I said to myself "Just another, typical sitcom with bad jokes and cliched stories." Needless to say I was wrong! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/lol.gif After a few first season episodes I saw Double Standard and Jo. I saw that she was pretty, smart and funny. At first I was in denile because I knew if I got too into the show I'd be hooked and then it would get canceled and I'd get hurt. But It was already to late. After seeing Jo I was hooked. The damage had been done. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
