Hi. As a Diff'rent Strokes fan and a casual FOL fan, I was wondering which episodes on the upcoming marathon are considered the 'controversial' or 'serious' ones? You know, the ones that Nick At Nite has probably refused to play (they pulled the same stunt with the controversial episodes of Diff'rent Strokes too). Can somebody please list the shows I should be looking out for. For example, wasn't there an episode where Natalie gets raped? Will that be on the marathon? Thanks.

TVLand will be airing 5 "controversial"
episodes. But, N@N aired two of these
"controversial" episodes.
-"The Source"
-"Dope"
-"Growing Pains"(N@N aired)
-"Let's Party"(N@N aired)
-"With A Little Help From My Friends"
You can find the schedule at TVland.com

Natalie wasn't raped. It was an attempted rape in the episode, Fear Strikes Back.

I'm surprised that TV Land isn't showing Fear Strikes Back....it gives a very good lesson at the end, and the episode is actually one of the funniest of them all, just seeing Natalie running around in a Charlie Chaplin suit is worth the episode. Plus, the episode isn't so constroversal to actually get you nervous...it's more of a breeze to watch it...it's not like watching the tear-jerking episode, "Breaking Point", which you can never ever stop getting nervous about...plus Blair blames herself in it, and it just doesn't give out that great lesson...although the episode is so well-done. Then...there's very stupid and just really bad constroversal episodes that make such a big deal out of the topic, that it forgets to be funny...for example..."I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can". Now...I know how funny it sounds for Mrs. G going to a strip club...but the episode is terribly dull and stupid...that when the ending comes up which is supposed to be really good....it sounds like the writing was from monkeys on potato skins going down a 50 foot mountain of cottage cheese. Then of course, there's the good old drug ones, I've already mentioned Breaking Point, but there's also Dope and With A Little Help From My Friends. Dope is a very very funny episode from beginning to end, but the episode focuses on different topics other then the marijunia, and it totally forgets about the drugs until the end when Mr. Bradley is looking through Sue-Ann's makeup case. Nice episode, funny and creative...but just not that constroversal enough...and that's what it's supposed to be. With A Little Help From My Friends is a pretty good episode...everything was ok as I saw, except for the fact that Blair is dating a guy who's on cocaine, and wants Blair to make him sober. Now...we have Andy selling Mrs. G's cheesecake, and that seems very funny, because the cocaine matter sure is not. I think that the episode could have done better, with the Eastland setting, and the boyfriend being from Bates...it really was ok, and that's just ok to me!
