Probably not that much. What kind of bills would she have had besides medical insurance. She didn't drive and got free room and board and they treated her just like one of the family, included her on vacations and stuff. She had it made IMO.

She probably got paid a salary, plus room and board, which really isn't much considering she was pretty much on duty 24/7.

She had to pay for her own insurance, proof being in the "Silver Platters" episode.

Remember Marcia and Jan listening to Alice on the phone, and Alice says, "Hey, listen, my insurance premium came due, and payday isn't for a week, so could you lend me the money till then?" (or something like that;) )

Other than that, like everyone else said, she had her room and board, no car, no utilities. So, whatever $$$ she made was used for whatnots, such as insurance, clothing, spending money, etc.

She couldn't have been that hard-up, though, because remember in the 1st season, Mike says, "We didn't even offer Alice a pay raise since bringing on extra people in the house!" and Alice insisted that money wasn't the issue.

Mijada is right, she had it made, even getting free vacations and all.

They probably paid her a flat rate. It would be hard to add up all the hours she was on duty. I'd say probably $100.00 a week salary.

well, they ALMOST treated her like one of the family...the Bradys never let Alice eat with them at the dining room table

But, she did get to tag along on all of their vacations, as well as the now-legendary camping trip, during which a lot of the outdoor dialogue was dubbed in during post production... ("A Camping We Will Go")

She did look kind of ridiculous in that "Forest Ranger" outfit she wore in the Grand Canyon episode.

Except, of course, when Alice twisted her ankle and the kids made a dinner where she was the guest of honor. But Carol was away, so they had some extra space at the table.

I guess most of the time Alice ate alone at the kitchen table.

That is so sad! :( I always felt sorry for Alice, in that respect.

Maybe she enjoyed the peace and quiet.

My 6 year old has noticed, "Alice never eats." I told him she must eat in the kitchen by herself.

PS Elizabeth it's good to see you back--haven't heard from you in awhile!

SKay,

Thanks! I've been really busy working, and with my 3 kids, so it's been a while since I've had time to visit the boards here! :)
