Ive seen many people bash Full House on these boards and im sick of it, so I made this to name all good things about Full House, and just generally chat about Full House. :) :) :) :wave: :wave:

By the way, in Chit Chat, I am constantly getting bashed by other members, and ive NEVER been bashed in the FH boards! :)

Has anyone else heard Full House being bashed?

I was thinking of starting a full house fan club. I'm going to put it in my sig, so if anyone wanna join, feel free to do that.

To be honest, Full House is the only board people are the nicest to me at too.

And I hate it when people bash Full House. This one girl in my school called Full House stupid. I was kinda mad, but I didn't say anything about it.

Well, different reasons.
First of all, they probably just want to make Full House fans upset (usually).
And they probably just dislike the show for some silly reason.

When I started watching Full House back in 2000 or 2001, I really started getting in to it. Then in October 2002, I started losing interstest in the show, because I was busy with something, and didn't have much time to watch it, and it wasn't on tv very much anymore.
And I didn't like it anymore because....nevermind, it's too embarrassing.

But then it came back on Nick at Nite in October 2003, so then I started watching it again, and became obsessed again!
Now I'm a Full House Fan forever! :)

Lets all share our stories of how we got into Full House.

I remember when my cousin was watching Full House on TBS back in 2001 or 2002 and I didnt really care about it, it was just always "that show my cousin watches" to me. So one day when I was sick in bed I turned on Nick@Nite and the Full House Kickoff Marathon was on. I watched "Just One Of The Guys," "Cutting it Close", and "Tanners Island." I enjoyed them but never thought id see the show again. So one night I turned on Nick and I saw Full House. I started to really get into until I started watching every night, then it came on ABC Family and I watched it there and now im obsessed with it!!! I never thought that day i watched it with my cousin id be obsessed with it like I am now.

Ok but what do we do in the club? I do think everybody is very nice here i like that we all get along.

I think the reason people bash Full House is because it was a family friendly show and the characters never had to curse at each other and fight alot. I mean i think that is what i liked about the show in the first place is that the family actually loved each other and gave each other hugs. I think there needs to be more shows like Full House on the air. I think Full House teaches kids lessons that other shows don't because if they make mistakes they need to be punished for them. I think there was alot of family sitcoms but lately there are very few. I think family televison shows aren't really around that much anymore.

Sorry, I can't remember my story. I had so many, I just don't know when I first watched. But I know it was when I was about 9 or 10 when I started watching Full House.

The story I remember most is that I one day turned on the TV guide chanell to see what was on. I saw that Full House was on channel 25. I decided to turn it on because I heard about it alot, and I knew the Olsens were in it.

I agree. Just because the show wasn't violet and didnt have any crude, inappropriate jokes like mosts shows do today many people dislike it. Full House is better than the stuff thats on TV today!!!

IMO, there is no better show that teaches you stuff than Full House and 7th Heaven. I've been a big fan of both of those shows for more than 3 years!

Yeah, some Full House and 7th Heaven episodes relate to me, but never as much like as severe because some people love to torture me.
My sisters love to tortue me, and tell me how stupid and ugly I am (I'm kinda ugly, but not stupid).
My parents give me a hard time alot by their stupid rules.
My teachers and classmates are so friggin' mean alot too.

Full House and 7th Heaven are both heartwarming shows. They both can give you a very good lesson.

I havent been posting at the Full HOuse boards latley. I am going to post here more often. FullHouseFan8795, I see that people are being very mean to you in your changing your look thead. You should report them, one of the rules is "be nice."

Here you are one of my best friends too. People are sometimes mean to me at school, just because im not athletic. In gym I am always made fun of. But I ignore them because I am also treated nice by my TRUE friends at school.

You should report them. The least they could do is close that thread to stop the fighting, and maybe even some people (not you) will get suspended or banned.

Everyone in the chit chat boards are mean to me, everyone at school is mean to me, and my family is mean to me too alot.
My relatives are the only ones who really seem to like me in real life.

How I got into Full House:

I was about nine-and-a-half years ago when Full House first debuted back in September 1987. It's a bit vague, but I was watching the ABC lineup one week, and there was this ad on TV for the show. It showed the clip of the guys trying to put on Michelle's diaper and possibly others but this one is most vivid in my head. Then, when it showed the text on the screen, there was the title for "Full House," and on the right of the logo, there was a pic of baby Michelle gently floating down like a feather or something. Those scenes seemed very interesting to me, so I kept an eye on when it came on and tuned in. Ever since then, I've been watching it almost every week. Then it went into reruns in 1990-1991, so I watched the reruns from the beginning while the season four episodes were still new for me. Then, after the show ended in 1995, I kept watching the reruns. So, the first episode I ever saw ended up being "Our Very First Show." :)

I've just been hooked on the show for all these years! I'm in my 20s, but I love it so much! Despite my sister sometimes making fun of me watching a so-called "baby show" (as she's mentioned a few times in the past), I still watch and enjoy it! :D

Why do I love it? Well, I think what's most interesting about this show is the characters and how they melt into the plots. The girls are hilarious and cute. The adults can also blend in quite nicely in a different way. More of a humorous way instead of a cute way. ;)

Do others like/loathe Full House? I have an Israeli friend (he posted here as "Aviv" a couple of times) who ADORES the show as well! :) I also have a Dutch friend whom I met in Europe who told me he didn't like it and thought it was a stupid and corny show always with a corny lesson. Well, we can't please everyone, can we? ;)

Sometimes the person who's in charge of the overall website (usually called a "forum leader"), may have that and mods may not - but mods may be able to only move, delete, sticky, and lock threads. I know this because I was asked to be a moderator at an Ace of Base forum, and I can do all that minus banning people. ;)

Moderators technically can yell at those offenders, but keep in mind to keep in respectful because, even then, the forum leader(s) who are owners of the overall website can even ban or take away moderator rights to the moderators. Yeah, 7th Heaven and FH is/was two very good shows cause they talk about problems in our lifes. The FH board is very nice and so, we are nice to each other and thats good. Im getting so close to my 100th close, this is my 909th post!! Anyway, on a scale from 1 through 10, how would you rate the episode "Sisters In Crime." Its the one where DJ, Stephanie and Michelle sneak into the movies theatures. Id rate it a 10, its my favorite episode!

I must say that I stand by Rurry007 and Mackenzie all the way. There are many people on Chit Chat who feel they can bash people. Just ignore the posters there, as they are clearly not being fair.

If the chit chatters see this post, they might run me off the board. I am not a huge Full House fan, but is it alright if I still come here and join the club?

there are many good members on chit chat as well, and I will not say any names as to the bashers and those I like on there.

I agree with all of you. i am just gonna ignore what they say on chit chat. I'm not gonna post there anymore either. Only like on maybe a couple of the boards maybe once in a while. I agree here on the Full House board everybody is nice to each other and gets along and we never have any fights.

You all wanna know something. I think this is the only board on Sitcoms Online that people are actually nice to me. I have been a member for a long time i even used to have another username and people were never that nice to me on any of the other boards i posted at.

I've been reading all the posts about this "Chit Chat" board, and that place seems nightmarish and intimidating. :( I never go there, but I did take a look at it. I just skimmed through a couple of topics that interested me, but none of them were insulting. Maybe I was in the wrong area. What area is this usually happening?

But anyway, I see no reason why any of us should be banned. Why? Because we love Full House and get along? It's the ones who pick on fights (it seems to be those mean people, from what I've been understanding), so if that's the case, they should be banned or even get their posting rights absolved.

Let me tell you all.... if there was a time or a place to defend you all who get insulted in that place and are in any danger, I *will* stand by your sides!! Thanks you seem nice too. I don't know why they pick on us, i think it's because we don't pick fights and say cruel things like they do. The thread they started was Chit Chat Club to Get Away from People Bashing Chit Chat but now it is closed. I think this is the only board were people are nice to me. I don't think people like me on any of the other Sitcoms Online boards.

This thread has geared way off-topic AND with guests who don't even frequent the Full House board based upon the last 4-5 posts. Or does it relate with Full House-related topics? Doubt it.

I'm not the moderator of this board, but if there is going to be one-on-one discussions between the two of you, don't you think PMs are better? I, for one, don't want to read about the two of you (Miss Vicki and OU812) hating each other or who the biggest skank is. I could care less. To me, it just shows disrespect for your airing of your dirty laundry, and I just think less of your maturity. PMs are a "private message" system is a wonderful little device so the "whole message board" doesn't have to sit and read irrelevant messages. It's a nice thing to use.

Yeah but i think sisters do things like that. I think they read each other diary. I don't have a sister so i don't know but on alot of sitcoms it seems like that. In one episode Stephanie said she looks up to D.J. i think that D.J. was Stephanie's rolemodel and Stephanie was Michelle's rolemodel. I think that they looked up to each other. I think Stephanie wanted to be like D.J. because D.J. was popular and had alot of boyfriends and things. Maybe i'm wrong it's just a guess.
