I think having a good personality and being a loving, caring person is better than being really intelligent. I've known quite a few people who were super-smart, but were socially inept and snooty and self-centered.

Personality is a far more important character trait then intelligence. I like to associate myself with people who are intelligent because it makes the conversation more interseting. However, a person can be very intelligent and not be a very nice person. And if someone in not a nice person I would perfer not to be associated with them. I think the ideal person is one that has both intelligence and a great personality.

Personality is more imptortant.

I've never had much use for that there book learnin'.

Of course choosing personality does not mean that intelligence isn't important.

i would say that just about all the people I associate with are intelligent folks, and myideal mate would be someone who was smart.

So if there are any Playmates with a PHD out there who want some lovin', then I'm your man...

Personality definately...intelligence is pretty important, but personality is basically what makes a person.

Defintly personality, because that shows who you really are.

Personality. But I'll admit, to a certain degree, too little intelligence gets on my nerves. Especially when people can't speak or write even halfway proper English. And no common sense drives me nuts.

after careful consideration, i have come to the conclusion that with enough intelligence you could raise enough money to buy all the personality and friends you'd ever need...

and then you could be all snooty and look down on them :)

Obviously intelligence is very important, but if you don't have a personality.. forget it.
