Season Nine: (1999-2000) Summary
Tim gets a job at the local hardware store, where after a week of working, he is promoted to assistant manager. Jill gets her job as a psychologist at a family clinic. She loves every minute of it. She treats a "regular client": a teenage girl, who's father is in the military and she worries about her dad. Jill feels for this girl. Brad (19) goes off to UCLA on a soccer scholarship and meets an attractive, yet cynical girl, Trish (Marla Sokoloff), who falls for. Randy (18) and Lauren return from Costa Rica and announce they are engaged. Tim and Jill freak at first, but they prove to them that they are really in love and want to get married. Jill and Tim try and succeed in trying to have them wait until they are at least 20 years old. Mark (15)falls for the neighbor girl, Megan Genrich (Ashlee Simpson) who shows him the do's and don't's to do in this new school and new community. Wilson dies, the family returns to town to see the old gang at his funeral. Heidi and Scott own their own auto-shop. They have a girl (amy) and a boy. Heidi just found out she's pregnant again with their 3rd child. AL and Trudy are expecting their first child, a baby boy, in one month. They are thinking of naming him: Timmy, after his "uncle Tim". Marty and Nancy are back together and are hestitating buying Tim and Jill's old Detriot house, after getting their permission, they and the twins move in. Nancy and Marty are trying to have another child.
