What is The View and when does it air?

The View is a talk show, but not your average Jerry Springer or Jenny Jones type of talk show. It has more of a "coffee-table" setting, with the hosts sitting at the table talking. Nancy McKeon was on it a while back. I don't know when it airs for you, so you might want to check your local listings. It airs on ABC where I live.

I just checked tvguide.com, and it says that Joan Rivers is on November 15. So, I'm wondering... is she going to **tape** the show that day, or will it be **aired** that day?? I thought the show was live, but I'm not 100% sure. Larry King is the guest on Friday, 11/16. Normally, from what I've seen of the show, they have one celebrity guest and then some fashion stuff. I may be wrong about all of this, but I just want to make sure the date is correct.
