Last week, I was watching the movie "Ghost" (circa 1990, with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore) and first customer of Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg) sure looked familiar!
I looked it up on IMDB, and it was Angelina Estrada, who played Aunt Connie! She's been in a lot of movies and TV shows!

Remember the episode where Chico & Ed have the garqage sale & they sell the Packard statue from an old Packard car? Clara from the Andy Griffith show is in this one as one of the old ladies. Well she's in an episode of STARSKY & HUTCH called "Savage Sunday". It's about these 2 old people who rig up a bomb in their car to go off at 5 pm as a protest against conditions being so bad at the old folks home they live in. 2 thieves steal their car from the restaurant they were eating at & have the car repainted green & it's up to Starsky & Hutch to save the day. That episode is on the new dvd boxed set of the first season of STARSKY & HUTCH & was recently re-aired on TVLAND...

Is there anyone else on here getting into STARSKY & HUTCH? I'm now getting into Starsky & Hutch. Back in the 70's I was a teenager when the show came on (Am a 40 something now lol) & watched the show like everyone else did back then. I wasn't in love with S&H or thought they were cute but enjoyed the show. (Probably cuz I was in love with John Travolta, Shaun Cassidy & the Monkees back then. I still am a big fan of theirs as well as being a fan of folksinger Arlo Guthrie & 60's singer Tommy James who I later became a fan of & now adding to my list of stars I'm a fan of, Freddie Prinze Sr of CHICO & THE MAN.) I liked watching them jump over cars & shoot criminals & ride in the Torino & never really noticed the funny stuff or their close relationship like I did the chase stuff & the criminals. It was one of the many cool shows from back then that I liked. After the show was taken off the air I never saw it on tv anymore after that.

Where we live they don't have cable on our part of the road. We don't have paid satellite dish cuz we haven't been able to find a cheap descrambler for our big old satellite dish. So when the S&H re-runs were on TNT & TNN, I wanted to watch them but had no way to. Every yr my hubby & I go with my folks to the beach at Nags Head for a week to stay with them a their condo they have down there which get's rented to tourists when my folks aren't staying in it. One yr some yrs back when we went down to Nags Head the S&H re-runs were on TNT at 6 pm along with re-runs of the old 70's MEDICAL CENTER show being shown at 7 pm after it. That week I watched both shows for the first
time in yrs. I was glad to see both shows back on & watched them every nite that week. Quite some time back I did come across some S&H sites while coming across some sites on some old shows from the 60's & 70's I like. I love to watch old shows from the 50's/60's & 70's. I enjoyed looking at the sites & reading some of the fan fictions.

Then I heard & read about the new S&H movie with the imposters in it & thought Glaser & Soul shoulda been in the movie & not 2 new guys. When I read about the dvd coming out I wanted it & wanted it when it came out so I could see the show again. My hubby snuck & bought the dvd of S&H without telling me (little stinker). I found it & just had to watch it. It turned out he had got the dvd on sale cheap at Walmart. So we watched the first episode & enjoyed it. We kept on watching the other episodes different days & pretty soon & got hooked on the show & really getting into it & started noting how cute PMG & DS are. :) I started looking up sites on the show & PMG & DS & so now I'm getting into STARSKY & HUTCH.

My hubby's afraid it's gonna be like it is for me with Freddie. But hey I can always add a little diversity to my interest in stars, right? :) Unfortunately I won't be collecting everything on the guys (S&H) as I can't afford it so I plan to collect mainly the episodes of the show on dvd & vhs & the Hutch albums my hubby doesn't have (He has Hutches first album), the fiction books on the show, some cute pics of them off the internet & maybe a few other things. I like both PMG & DS. They are both cute! I love how they both get along so well & love & care about each other. I'm kinda leaning towards Starsky & think he's the cutest but I also think Hutch is cute too. I've seen some pics of Hutch on the internet that were hot & he looks hot in some episodes too. :) So hey I like them both together. They work so well together. What I'm really mainly getting into is the show & the guys on the show but am curious to see some of their other works too & get the rest of Hutches albums. But they really shined in the show...

S&H are my favourite roles to see them in. Anyway here I am getting into the show & the guys. It's probably a mid-life crisis like it is with Freddie Prinze but hey it's a good one!

I think Freddie would've been great on STARSKY & HUTCH. I wouldn't have wanted him to be a criminal tho as I wouldn't have wanted him to get shot. I think he'd be great in a STARSKY & HUTCH fan fiction... :)
