Gwen Stefani looks like she is the next Madonna. I was watching some videos of Madonna's, and I instantly begun thinking of the video from Gwen Stefani called "It's My Life". There were many parts that Gwen resembled Madonna!! :eek:

USUALLY people refer to "the next [something]" when the new artist resembles the former in key areas like sound, style, personality, similar fan-base. Looks don't even have to play into it. The fact that you think Gwen looked like Madonna in their videos (which, btw, I don't see it), doesn't even remotely mean Gwen is LIKE Madonna artist-wise.

I agree, if you're going to compare Gwen with an 80's pop star, I personally think Cyndi Lauper is a much better choice. I can see No Doubt performing some of Cyndi's material, and I could picture Cyndi singing quite a few of Gwen's songs. Whereas I really can't think of any Madonna songs I could see ND doing, or any of Gwen's songs Madonna doing.
