Mona didn't marry Nick. His parents didn't agree with the whole interracial thing. It was funny how they said onion dip was ethnic food. Mona made out with Spence, but I think that was just a teaser because they didn't hook up. I think their relationship is what is going to make the show. It keeps everyone wandering, will they or won't they. Anyway, the guy that Mona's mom is dating, turns out to be Spencer's father. I think that storyline will continue in the next season.

That was a interesting episode. I think Adam hit the nail on the head about them both being free and Spencer's feeling for Mona. They should go for it, ALREADY!!!

At least this show didn't end the season with some lame cliffhanger episode where people are waiting 4 months to see what happens next. There was a new plot thread introduced with Lou Gossett, but there was a sense of closure too. And Mona and Spencer are going to wind up together eventually, just not right this moment. Makes sense to me.
