Many years ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I sang the theme for Hello Larry. It was a thrill at the time and it was even kind of fun when it was identified (almost immediately) as the worst show on TV. I remember once when it was roundly made fun of on the Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live over a two or three day period.
I'm still a professional singer and recording artist, but when I played the theme for Hello Larry for my kids (I found theold tape recently) they absolutely loved it.
I'm amazed that there are people who still remeber the show. I'm not so sure that I ever watched a whole show, but I did tune in faithfully for the opening credits.

Thank you very much singer
The show wasn't that well-written but I tuned in for Kim...and the theme. One of my all-time favorites!

For those wanting to hear it and see some clips go to Kim Richards web site. I believe it is kimrichards.net. Or try her at IMDb.com

its nice to talk to you im a big hello larry fan .believe it or not i looked for the show on tape almost from the time it went off the air. i finally found some eps about 5 months ago i have many happy memories of the show from my childhood and when i got the tapes i was delighted to discover that i still really enjoy the show and believe it or not i had the theme song stuck in my head for years and years long after the show went off the air did you write the theme song or just sing it? it was very memroable and for the record the show wouldnt have won any emmys but by no means was it the worst sitcom of all time and besides like a lot of fans i had a crush on kim richards too.

I always thought Kim Richards would have been a better Kimberly Drummond on Diffrent Strokes than Dana Plato. She had so much chemsitry with Arnold and Willis in those crossover episodes between Hello Larry and Diffrent Strokes

I was distressed to find out that Kim Richards's eldest sister, Kathy, is the not only the goldbricker who married the "Hilton" name, but is in fact the mother who gave birth to those two field-whore, hell-spawn kids: Paris & Nicky Hilton! This, naturally, means that Kim Richards is their "aun-tee." Idn't that just spayshuhl?
