I'm not for certain as I have not seen these eps in a while but I think it was where Laura wandered off by the river and didn't return home until after dark. She had found a bottle by the river with a note in it and kept going back trying to find out who sent the note. She lost track of the time and was late for dinner and Charles got mad and threatened to whip her if she did it again. That should be Mary, not Marie. Mijada 05-17-2004, 11:32 PM Originally posted by webwarrior762004 Did Charles or Caroline yell at her? I believe Charles raised his voice to the girls a few times but I really don't remember him yelling at them. PracTz 05-18-2004, 02:03 PM Yes, Pa DID! Remember when he and Laura were with the crippled Mr. Edwards on that hunting trip and Mr. Edwards openly expressed wanting to kill himself? Laura pleaded with him not to and Pa SLAPPED her and told her that he was sorry but he couldn't let her interfere or go to pieces while Mr. Edwards needed to decide to live! I know he did in the end but I think Laura had the right idea not wanting to let him be alone in such a volatile state! hawaii five-o 05-18-2004, 02:47 PM She wasn't an Ingalls kid, but Nellie needed an attitude adjustment. phoebe7165 06-01-2004, 10:10 PM Originally posted by hawaii five-o She wasn't an Ingalls kid, but Nellie needed an attitude adjustment. Everybody in town should've been able to line up and slap Nellie just once. One slap per person. ~Tropical Punch 19~ 06-09-2004, 04:28 PM There was an episode where Carrie is getting on Laura and Mary's nerves and Mary let's Carrie wander off and ended up falling in a well. I haven't seen it in a long time, but for some reason I think that Ma got mad at Mary for letting Carrie wander off. Did she? |
