I just watched this episode a few hours ago :) I've seen that episode before. love this episode. Why would Jack want to be with Arabella after the way she treated Bernice? Arabella was rude and mean. I wouldn't want to be around her after that would you? I don't think Jack felt sorry for Bernice he just didn't like how rude Arabella was. Hmmm she was middle aged?

Bernice did not appear to me as being middle-aged! :lol: She did seem a little older, however, but not that much older to me.

I think that was very noble of the Jack character to treat Bernice with respect. It shows how much he's not superficial as his and Larry's stereotypical swinging bachelor make them appear. It changed a perspective and was very sweet! :D

I thought it was great that Jack through out Arabella. She was very rude and mean to Bernice. Jack was always a gentleman unlike Larry.

That episode was why i liked Larry aa tad bit more than Jack. Larry would have never been in that situation.

i so agree!! and thx for agreeing with me! how can u be a fan of tc and hate half the characters? i dont understand that!! u have criticized them in some way or another............its stupid! and i agree, they did all contribute to that show!! and cindy isnt weird..........shes just comfortable being who she is. and furley is kinda old fashioned but trying to be up to date at the same time.........he is interesting......not weird......and chrissy isnt weird......she just isnt the smartest person in the world!

Getting back to the original subject of this thread, Jack made a mistake in singing to the wrong window. Lots of guys would have ditched Bernice for Arabella. But not Jack, he did the right thing to honor the date. That is he accepted responsibility for his mistake and acted like a man, not an a--hole. :D

I'm not entirely sure but I think I remember Arabella saying more nasty things to Bernice when this first aired on ABC. I think Nick at Nite cut some of her comments towards her. Not entirely sure though but I guess I'll find out when the dvd comes out of this episode.
