How about "The Streak" by Ray Stevens? The song was about the streaking craze of the mid-seventies.

"Pardon me, sir, did you see what happened?" "Yeah, ah see. . . ."

I'm going to have to go with the king of novelty himself, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and his song "Christmas At Ground Zero."

My Ding-A-Ling by Chuck Berry. One of the greatest guitarist, with great songs, and he was reduced to this.

Randy Newman's 'Short People' was funny.

The 'Macarana' craze was sort of cute.

I don't know if it's novelty, but Billy Ray Cyrus's, 'Achy Breakey Heart' was catchy.

There's the good old 'Hokey Pokey'. Always a standard at weddings.

I like the song "Troglodyte" by the Jimmy Castor Bunch. That was a weird novelty. I like another weird song called "Christmas in Poughkeepsie".

It's from the 1986 album Polka Party!. It's not a parody of any particular song, but it's sort of a style pardoy of Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree."

Unfortunately, since 9/11, a lot of people who hear it for the first time think it refers to the World Trade Center wreckage site. :(

Christmas at Ground Zero
(Yankovic)

It's Christmas at Ground Zero
There's music in the air
The sleigh bells are ringin' and the carollers are singin'
While the air raid sirens blare

It's Christmas at Ground Zero
The button has been pressed
The radio just let us know
That "This is not a test..."

Everywhere the atom bombs are droppin'
It's the end of all humanity
No more time for last minute shoppin'
It's time to face your final destiny

Well, it's Christmas at Ground Zero
There's panic in the crowd
We can dodge debris while we trim the tree
Underneath a mushroom cloud

You might hear some reindeer on your rooftop
Or Jack Frost on your windowsill
But if someone's climbin' down your chimney
You better load your gun and shoot to kill

Oh, it's Christmas at Ground Zero
And if the radiation level's okay
I'll go out with you and see the all new
Mutations on New Year's Day

It's Christmas at Ground Zero
Just seconds left to go
I'll duck and cover with my yuletide lover
Underneath the mistletoe
It's Christmas at Ground Zero
Now the missles are on their way
What a crazy fluke we're gonna get nuked
On this jolly holiday
What a crazy fluke we're gonna get nuked
On this jolly holiday

I used to love "Christmas At Ground Zero" but since 9/11 it took on a whole new meaning and I just don't feel right when I hear it now

Let's Fighting Love
Ben Affleck Almost Makes Me Forget All About Tacos
Christmas Time In Hell
Timmy!!!
Turds
Circle Of Poo
plus all the songs from the movie

most of these songs won't make sense unless you see them in the context of the episodes

Ditto! That's one of the most bizarre songs I've ever heard in my life. It's supposed to be about a man's dog trying to drive him insane, or so I've heard.
